Jeanne Bendick was primarily known as a children's science book author, designer, and illustrator. Her first work was for Jack and Jill magazine (Curtis Publishing Company, 1938 series) in 1939. Her one known comic book credit was the artwork for an activity page, "Build-a-Bomber" in Funny Book (Parents' Magazine Press, 1942 Series) #6 (Winter 1943).
