Rinus Ferdinandusse

Ferdinandusse is a writer. He started out as a comedian, then became editor of student magazine Propria Cures (1958-1961). From there, he became a known figure by his performances in the satirical television programme "Zo is het toevallig ook nog eens een keer" (1963-1966). He then became editor in chief for magazine Vrij Nederland (1969-1996). Starting in 1964, he also had a succesful career as a crime novelist. As a sidestep, he wrote a comic strip with artist Peter van Straaten, which was aborted and did not see publication until 2005.
