A cartoonist gag writer who is known to have sold gags to Hank Ketcham, Harold Currier, Ray Helle, Don Tobin, Charles Pearson, John Dempsey, and Reamer Keller. He was friends with Carl Barks, who wrote that Harmon wrote "gags for the daily and Sunday Dennis newspaper feature."
