Henry Gaines Goodman was a professional chemist who did cartoons on the side for magazines, newspapers, and cartoon magazines. After he retired from his job, he self-syndicated the comic panel Honeydew from May 3, 1971, lasting about four years, mostly in Southern small town and weekly newspapers.
