Jean Knott

Cartoonist and comic strip artist, Jean Knott worked for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch from 1903 to 1916, known for his poker cartoons, Penny Ante. In 1916, Knott signed a two-year contract with Hearst for its newspaper syndicates.
