Joyce Farmer

Underground comix pioneer and co-founder (along with Lyn Chevli) of the women's anthology Tits & Clits, the first comic to be produced and published entirely by women. Other titles published by them include Abortion Eve and Pandora's Box Comics. Her book Special Exits came out in 2010 to great acclaim. Anthologies she has contributed to include Wet Satin, Wimmen's Comix, Zero Zero, Energy Comics #1, Mama! Dramas, Secession: She Draws Comics, Itchy Planet #2 and Drawing Power: Women's Stories of Sexual Violence, Harassment, and Survival. Joyce's maiden name was Farmer. Her married name was Sutton. She later legally changed her name back to Farmer.
