Michal Zori, born in 1975, graduated from a vocational art high school in 1993 with a major in ceramics. After working in the field, she applied to the Hamidrasha School of Art in Ramat-Hasharon for studies in plastic arts but was advised to pursue illustration due to her illustrative style. Following this guidance, she earned a degree in illustration from Vital College, graduating in 1999 with a B.A. from Middlesex University, England. Zori has contributed illustrations to newspapers and various books. However, personal inclinations and geographical factors led her to focus on independent creative projects. Throughout her life, she has been deeply immersed in her inner world, consistently expressing herself through drawing. The concept of Wabi-Sabi resonates with Zori's artistic and personal philosophy, emphasizing the beauty in imperfection and transience. She finds value in the ephemeral, the flawed, and the fragile, believing that true grandeur often emerges from defeat.
