Larry Blake

Larry Blake was a small-press comics creator whose career began in the early 1970s. A prolific artist, he self-published comics under the Rock Bottom Studio name, as well as contributing frequently to titles published by others. One of his best-known characters was the superheroine Nightstar (originally named Nightshade). He was also a major fan of the hard rock group Kiss, contributing artwork to various Kiss fanzines. Larry Blake was a longtime member of the Christian Comic Arts Society and former member of the United Fanzine Organization and Pizazz co-ops.
