Larry Johnson

Larry Johnson began creating homemade comics featuring a cartoony character called Zooy in 1963. He drew 71 issues of a homemade "Zooy" comic book series from 1966 to 1982. In 1973, he began publishing a fanzine called "The Comet" featuring a mix of comics and articles. His long-running independent series "Tales of Fantasy" began in 1988, its first issue reprinting the final issue of "Zooy" from 1982. In recent years he has published full color comic books about some of his older characters like Madame Boogala and Lew Brown, as well as newer creations like Horseman.
