Lorraine Darrow

Lorraine Darrow est scénariste, traductrice et professeure de scénario. Née en région parisienne, elle grandit à Madagascar puis travaille pour le cinéma et la télévision, aux États-Unis et en France, occupant les postes d'assistante producteur, production manager, directrice de casting, et surtout premier assistant réalisateur. Au cours de cette période, elle a écrit et réalisé ses propres films, courts métrages d’animation et documentaires. Elle a enseigné à la Femis et a été lectrice de scripts pour le Centre national du cinéma (CNC). En parallèle, Lorraine travaille régulièrement comme traductrice (romans, romans graphiques et documents) pour divers éditeurs et entreprises françaises et américaines. Elle enseigne maintenant l’écriture de scénarios à DePaul University et est régulièrement invitée par le département d’animation du Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) en tant que conférencière invitée et consultante pour les étudiants seniors depuis 2010.
