Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson was an American publisher, writer and former U.S. Army officer. After leaving the military, he worked as an author of pulp fiction and adventure stories. He later founded National Allied Publications, a company that produced early comic books containing original material created specifically for the comic book format rather than newspaper reprints. Financial difficulties led to his departure from the company, which later became known as DC. His work is closely connected to the early development of the American comic book industry.
