Mike lived In Poland for a while and whilst there worked in the UK for 2000 AD, Marvel UK, Ginn Publishing, Dorling Kindersley and the Oxford University Press. He has worked on Captain America, Thor and Spider-Man for Marvel. He adapted Stephen King’s The Stand, illustrated Astonishing X-Men and then re-launched Deathlok, Carnage and Iron Fist. After moving to DC he depicted the adventures of the Green Lanterns, collaborated with Greg Rucka on Lois Lane and then The Swamp Thing with Ram V. Recent work includes the prestige format series The Bat-Man: First Knight. He lived in Tampa, Florida for twenty years before moving back to the UK and is now based in Shrewsbury, England. Whilst in Tampa he started work at Crossgen Comics. He has been nominated numerous times for Eisner and Harvey Awards and, as well as winning the Eagle Award, counts being on the New York Times Bestseller list and being exhibited in Munich, London and Paris amongst his career achievements.
