Synopsis

A famous novelist is accused of murdering his ex-fiancee, actress Liza Fenton, and Wendy testifies in his defense despite the fact that it causes a breakup between her and her boyfriend. She notices the dead girl's manager staring intently at her during the trial and has a feeling he is dangerous. Alone that night, Wendy gets a phone call but the caller hangs up without speaking. Afraid, Wendy calls the police. While waiting for them to arrive, she notices a movement in the bushes.
