Synopsis
When an injury ruins Dan's baseball career, he has trouble adjusting. He is often drunk and in fights. His sister arranges a new job for him and when he meets his new boss, his attraction to her changes him. She seems attracted to him too, but later he discovers that she is married. When her husband is killed by car driven by Dan, Kay assumes the worst and tells the prosecution her story. But late at work one night, she has a conversation with a night porter who told her what happened that night and she realizes she was wrong about Dan.
