Synopsis

Andrea falls for her father's gardener, but her father threatens to disinherit her if she continues to see him. She says she doesn't care, but Gil tells her that he had never told her he loved her. Nevertheless, her father fires him. Andrea goes to London with her cousin Lucy and gets a job as a typist. Meanwhile, Gil had bought the meadow at the back of his house and gone into business for himself as a market gardener. When they meet again, Gil notices how much Andrea has matured while she tries to downplay her feelings for him.
