Synopsis
Pam loves Paul, but he is in love with Myra. When Paul is away for three weeks delivering horses for Pam's father, Myra meets a wealthy, older man and agrees to marry him. Paul bitterly sees the power of money and leaves Chesterham. He returns years later with a business proposition for Pam's father but is required to marry Pam as part of the business arrangement. Learning that her father is almost bankrupt, Pam agrees to save her father. Over time the partnership makes money, but Pam's old feelings for Paul are lost as he thinks of her only as a business partner.
