Synopsis

Paul has been working as a lumberjack to save enough money to marry Janet. Mandy, who handles the mail in the camp, is in love with him. Paul becomes concerned when he hasn't received any letters from Janet for quite a while. Realizing that his daughter is in love with Paul, Clark tells Paul he will pay his the rest of his wages, but wants him to leave the camp early. When Paul arrives in Seattle, he discovers that Janet is marrying someone else. She had sent him a letter telling him about her change of heart, but he had never received it and she had not received his letters after that.
