Synopsis

When Silvia's ill father informs her that they are bankrupt, she leaves her fiance and starts a new life with a job and small apartment. In her job at Blakeley's department store, she soon draws the attention of one of the store's directors, a racing car driver. But a jealous co-worker sabotages their relationship and at a low moment, she accepts a marriage proposal from her previous fiance. When the truth is revealed, Silvia is heartbroken, but feels she can't reject her fiance twice. However, her rival vows revenge and sabotages the racing car.
