Synopsis

Miss Parks likes Jim, the village constable, but she's looking for someone with the drive to get somewhere in a big hurry. When an American comes to town to write a book, he seems to be the type of man she is looking for. After only four weeks, he proposes to her and they plan to wed on the same day he is going back to the states. When Jim stops her for traffic violations on the way to the wedding, he makes her late. Craig's attitude when she is late makes her realize she doesn't want to move that fast.
