Synopsis
Maggie is convinced she will always be an old maid. There had been chances, but she either chattered like a mad parrot or stuttered like a fool. Her brother introduces her to Lance and the family is not too subtle about getting them together. He spends the evening talking about himself and she tells him she isn't interested in him. As he walks away, he says he hoped this time he might make a hit. He tells her he either makes a fool of himself by talking too much or can't think of a thing to say. Maggie never realized anyone else knew how it felt.
