Synopsis

After school, Julie sets out to earn her own living, but has a hard time finding a job. She accepts a position with an animal rescue service although the position initially only offers lodgings and pocket money. The clinic owner holds out the possibility that she might be put on payroll if their funds warrant a regular salary. He also informs her that there is another volunteer who would be a rival for that position. However, she gets along well with her 'rival' and they soon become close friends.
