Branded as "an Uncle Andy Book."

On sale date from the publication date reported to the U.S. Copyright Office found in the Catalog of Copyright Entries, Third Series, Volume 2, Part 1B, Number 2, Pamphlets, Serials and Contributions to Periodicals, July-December 1948, page 330. Copyright registration number AA102029.

Believed to have had about a 5000 print run. Distributed to schools in Westchester County, New York and Bronx, New York City, New York during the week of December 5, 1948. Before distributed, pre-publication copies were sent to librarians, educators, and police chiefs. One pre-publication copy ended up sent to Dr. Fredric Wertham. Wertham would write about this comic book in his book, Seduction of the Innocent, as the only "good" comic ever published.

First of what was to be a series of comics never published, including The Snow Man, with art by William Palmer, and A Christmas Carol, with art by Mark von Arenburg.

Done in the comic book format, using art illustrations with text (no word balloons) in an effort to redefine what a comic book could be. The venture does not succeed and no further comics as such were produced by this publisher.

There is some debate of whether this is a comic per se, but the publisher's intent was to produce a new type of comic book and considered this to be a comic book. And because it's place historically with the Seduction of the Innocent book, it is included here for historical and reference purposes.
