Synopsis

The Generation X kids begin to settle in to life at Xavier's and prepare to train for being the next generation of mutant heroes. Banshee, Jubilee and Synch head to the airport to meet their latest recruit, Jonothon Starsmore, but he is immediately attacked by the mutant vampire, Emplate. Gateway teleports the rest of the team in and Emplate is driven off. Returning to the mansion with Chamber, they discover a wounded mutant on the grounds and Gateway whispers the name "Penance."
