Synopsis

Jim and Betty break up after two years together. Although the breakup was amicable, Betty feels she has nothing left to live for. As she gazes down at the water from a stone bridge, she is interrupted by a man who senses her despair. Over time he gradually brings her back to life, but when he proposes to her she tells him that she is fond of him, but she can't love him.
