Synopsis

Gorgo gets caught by Chinese fishermen in their nets. His mother sinks the ship freeing him but the survivors talk about how there is a dragon in the sea. The red Chinese and their Soviet allies are afraid that this will cause an uprising among the peasents. They try to kill Gorgo with poisoned shark carcasses but his mother stops him. She also saves him from a huge intake valve that she gets trapped in. Gorgo goes berserk and attacks the mainland. The peasents rally against their communist overlords as Gorgo's mother frees herself, helps Gorgo destroy much of the reds facilities, and leaves.
