Synopsis

Upon graduating from high school in 1943, four girls reveal their plans for the future. Gloria wants to become an actress, Ruby wants "power and authority," Vickie craves "plenty of money and a good social position," while May wants to "raise a family and get a man to look after me." They agree to meet again in ten years to see what their lives are like.
