Synopsis

After Phil had left town, he had written to Doris from time to time. When he asks her to join him in London, she jumps at the chance. Doris reports to the studio where he works and discovers that she looks just like an actress that is working in a film Phil is directing. Doris is hired to be Laura's double, being in scenes the actress never does for herself and standing in for her at parties and the like so Laura can rest.
