Copyright 1942 by Ray C. Berry Syndicate. Date from copyright date which probably signifies when the comics were syndicated. It is possible this edition was printed in 1943 or later.

No price on the comic, but known copy had a price sticker of 10 cents, indicating that is most likely what it sold for.

This is effectively the third edition of the 1941 original edition, A Rookie in Roberts or The First Thirteen Weeks are the Hardest (1941 series, Paso Robles Press). This edition reprints the artwork from the second edition, A Rookie in Roberts (1942 series, Paso Robles Press) which the comic art was redone. This edition changed the copyright from Ned Eller to Ray C. Berry Syndicate and there is no indication Paso Robles Press printed this edition.

The pages are reformatted so each page is an individual strip, numbered and given titles. This comes from when the comics were reformatted to be syndicated by the Ray C. Berry Syndicate for various military bases and camp newsletters and newspapers. The comics are also renamed, A Rookie in Training Camp, to allow cover changes to reprint this edition in the names of other base or camp names.

The comic pages are printed on one side and blank on the reverse.
