The indicia states, "September 2018", while the cover states, "Winter Equinox 2018," the credits page states, "Autumnal Equinox 2018" and the UPC box states "Dec 2018". The UPC on the back cover hints this is the second in a series, but the indicia states #1. Note that an earlier issue of the same name states "Autumnal Equinox 2018" on the cover. In-house ads indicate that there is an intended follow-up issue.

The anthology's structure, especially the hosted interstitials and the composition of the cover's banner and gutter insets, embody a pastiche of pre-code horror/suspense titles from E.C.
