Synopsis

High school student Leslie grows up a tomboy, participating in sports and never going on dates. When neighbor Dan returns from college, he kisses Leslie but suggests she become more feminine. Leslie overhears her older sister Marianne saying she’s going to the prom with Dan, so Leslie uses the money she was saving to buy a target rifle to pay for a makeover instead. Everyone is astonished at Leslie’s transformation. Marianne admits she and Dan were just pretending to have a romance to make Leslie jealous enough to shed her tomboy image.
