Synopsis

Kathy is an introvert with poor self-esteem; her parents send her to a private school hoping this will help. It doesn’t and she runs away but is rescued by medical student/miner Peter who lives on the other side of the tracks. They fall in love but Kathy mistakenly thinks he’s using her as a “human guinea pig” to test his theories. He makes it clear that it’s true love and proposes marriage.
