Synopsis
Lantern Mullein's murder investigation takes a turn when the apprehended murderer is in turn murdered. As Jo continues to try to understand the alien races of the City Enduring after interesting encounters with Councillor Thorn and Councillor Marth, she learns of Switchoff, an alien drug capable of allowing the emotionless residents of the city to feel emotions again.
