Synopsis

13 year old Tucker Freeman is told by his Aunt that's he's not pulling his weight on their farm and their are too many mouths to feed. Given a few coins and told to leave and fend for himself, he jumps a train. He is fortunate enough to meet kindly vagabond Elijah Freeman and learns about life in depression era Missouri.
