Synopsis

Ruthie’s high school sweetheart Al goes off to college. She thinks they’ll be married when he graduates, but then learns he eloped with fellow student Inez. Ruthie vows never to marry and moves to the city and throws herself into her career. Ruthie dates fellow employee Ben but turns down his marriage proposal. Ben then becomes engaged to Delores on the rebound and Ruthie realizes she loves him. When Delores sees how she feels, she breaks up with Ben so he can marry Ruthie.
