Synopsis
Dory’s father Jimmy is a bandleader; she wants to become a singer, but he opposes this. Without his knowledge, Dory joins Dodd’s orchestra but quits when she discovers her father’s band will be replaced by Dodd’s group. In the end, Dory and Dodd reconcile, Dodd gets the job, and her father will be promoted to emcee at the club.
