Underground Comix are known for using different prices, covers (art or color variations) and/or interior content to distinguish between printings. 1st-6th prints all have 0.50 USD cover price. 1st print August 1970 says printed by Apex Novelties and published by The San Francisco Comic Book Company. 2nd print November 1970 says published by Apex Novelties in cooperation with the S.F. Comic Book Co. 3rd print Feb 1971 says printed by Apex Novelties and published by The San Francisco Comic Book Company. 4th print June 1971 - the 1970 on lower right of front cover missing. 5th print says published by Apex Novelties and has a black box to right of information. 1970 returned to cover. 6th print has no black box to right of copyright information. All later printings say published by Apex Novelties. 7th print has 0.75 USD cover price. 8th print has 1.00 USD cover price. 9th print has 1.25 cover price.
