Synopsis

On a space station orbiting Mars on the 400th anniversary of the Challenger Disaster a group of children present a class project on the Challenger, covering the history of the Space shuttle program, the normal routine of a shuttle mission, an overview of the crew, the events leading up to the final launch, the launch and subsequent disaster, the investigation into the causes, and the lessons learned.
