Synopsis

A drifter sees a chance to live off the fat when a girl from a wealthy family takes an interest in him. Then he meets her friend from an even wealthier family and ditches Ellen for Ginnie. His plan is working, but he finds it isn't as much fun as he thought it would be and he keeps thinking of Ellen. He goes back to Ellen and skippers her sailboat to victory in the trophy race.
