Synopsis
When her husband Linwood is badly injured on their Florida honeymoon, Freida gets a job as a waitress to pay his medical bills and tells her husband that insurance is paying. Freida also works for Bruno in his casino, but quits when Bruno makes a pass at her. Linwood recovers and he and Freida return to Ohio, where he is an assistant pastor. Bruno follows and tries to blackmail Freida into returning with him, but Linwood punches him and Bruno leaves: “She was worth a gamble—but I lost!”
