Notes
Limited Edition Coupon Redemption Issue. Each of the eleven Malibu Ultraverse October 1993 issues was a flip-book with a Rune segment labeled A-K which contained 3 pages of this story. Each book also contained a coupon with an individualized serial number. (An additional wildcard coupon was included in Ultra Monthly #4). Rune #0 was obtained along with The Solution #0 by sending in photocopies of the coupon in each of the eleven books (or in ten of the books plus the one in Ultra Monthly #4) plus 5.00 USD (7.00 USD for addresses outside the United States).
With the exceptions of Sludge #1 and The Solution #2, the Rune flip-book covers combined to form the image shown on the cover of Rune #0.
