While several stories were originally published online as part of an event organized by Ollerton for Autism Acceptance Month in 2021, some are original to this volume. The collection was originally funded via a Kickstarter campaign and later received a wider release through Andrews McMeel. Linked credits are all from the volume's table of contents. Because many of these stories were originally posted online, some contain the creator's online handles as credits on the strips themselves. These have been noted.
This anthology was named the winner of the 2022 Broken Frontier Award for Best One-Shot Anthology and was nominated for the 2022 Ringo Award for Best Anthology, the 2022 Graphic Medicine International Collective Award and the 2023 Eisner Award for Best Anthology.
