This issue is an anomaly. The cover shows that it was an Editora Sol publication. It has their "Una revista; ES" brand emblem. It has the price in Mexican pesos. It says this issue is "Año XI - num 181", continuing the format on issues #115 and #153.

However the indicia says it was published by the American publisher Best Syndicated Features (American Comics Group), who had published four issues of their Aventuras Macabras series in 1953-1954. All the text in the indicia is identical with the indicia for #47 of the American series, except for the dates and issue number. This text is outdated. American Comics Group moved out of the listed offices in 1957. Also, Best Syndicated Features did not register for copyright any issues of Aventuras Macabras in 1962, or any other year except 1953-1954. It is concluded that this really is an Editora Sol publication.
