Synopsis
Francine, the social secretary to wealthy Mrs. Lemoine, falls in love with new chauffeur Ralph. Ralph turns out to be an Army deserter and a wanted criminal. He’s been pilfering valuable items from Mrs. Lemoine, but when the police start to close in, Ralph convinces Francine to run away with him. He knocks out Mrs. Lemoine and steals the contents of her safe, then forces a reluctant Francine to flee with him. They’re caught by the police. Francine is sentenced to 2 years in prison.
