Synopsis
Linda receives a scholarship to Belder University where her father worked as a custodian; she has a chip on her shoulder against the entitled students, although they treat her as an equal. To spite them, she sets her cap for popular student Dave, turning down an internship to work in the cafeteria with him, and joining the same clubs he does. Her prickly attitude costs her a spot in a sorority, but Linda doesn’t care. Dave finally breaks up with her because she’s just a “shadow” of him. Linda asks forgiveness of those she had snubbed, and they forgive her. Dave may also return, soon.
