Synopsis

“Homely” university students Carol and Mike have crushes on the handsome Clem and pretty Angela, respectively. However, Angela and Clem mock them. Carol and Mike are close friends and share a common interest in writing, but separate at graduation. Mike becomes a prosperous advertising writer and finally gets a date with Angela, then realizes he doesn’t want her now. He discovers Carol has become a successful novelist. Turns out they loved each other all the time.
