Synopsis

Joe sends his girlfriend Ann to renew her friendship with honest politician Phil. They fall in love. When Phil loses an election to Joe’s crooked candidate, he says at least he has Ann. However, Ann returns to Joe, who can provide her with the material things—like a mink coat—that she covets.
