Synopsis

17-year-old Terry wants to marry Chris before he goes in the Army, but her parents feel she is too young. Terry says "we wouldn't need a license to tell we're married," and Chris understands she's willing to sleep with him. They sneak off to a shabby motel but Terry backs out at the last moment; they both realize they want to be married properly, and agree to wait.
