Fantastic Four Annual #10

While the indicia for the Annual gives only "1973", a more precise publication date can be determined by an examination of its covers (inside front, inside back and back) compared with other Marvels of that year: only two months' issues (dated September and October) carry the same covers, which would have been a specific printing set-up for the titles published in those months. Both months' Marvels carry the same covers and interior advertisements as can be found in this issue. However, confirmation that the Annual was most probably published amongst the September-dated issues comes in the half-page advertisement (beneath the letters section) in Fantastic Four (Marvel, 1961 series #138 (September 1973), for both this issue and Amazing Spider-Man Annual (Marvel, 1964 series) #9.
