Synopsis

A dejected and perspiring New York Governor David B. Hill, as a plumber, sits on a road between the 'Irving Hall Democracy' on the right and the 'Tammany Democracy and County Democracy' on the left. The road leads up a hill to the 'Mugwump Head-Quarters' where there is a sign that states "No Connection with Machine Politics."
