Funded through a Kickstarter campaign that launched on April 15, 2024 and ran 15 days until April 30. (source) The publication date on the front cover is fanciful, with the above-listed "On Sale" date reflecting when general shipping/fulfillment was first announced in an update to crowdfunding backers. All physical backers of the crowdfunding campaign, as achieved stretch goals, received a bonus art print, featuring an alternate or deleted scene from this series, and a Death of Power #1 production comic, featuring design and layout thumbnails for that issue. All backers of the crowdfunding campaign also received a "Digital Comics Bundle" that included PDFs of this issue as well as Fae Archaic, Herbie's Song, Death of Power #1-3, and Galacto Pit-Fighter #1 & #2. There have been multiple printings of this issue, with later printings removing or altering the issue's printing number notation (see the back cover). Burdick announced on October 16, 2025 that, with the Death of Power #8 Kickstarter campaign, the printed price on this issue would be changed on new printings from US $10 to US $12. (source)
